SNP sites in the human genome represent the major sites of variations between persons, causing individual variations in disease susceptibility and response to therapeutics. The accurate detection of such SNPs is crucial for individualized medicine. OLE is a brand new patented technology in SNP genotyping, which is characterized by high efficiency, high accuracy and low cost. It possesses proven advantages over other methods like the Two Label Extension (TLE).
